So let me tell you about Satan. Satan was the first pokemon I ever caught at age 14, back when spelling wasn’t important to me. I wanted to name it Satin, because it looked so adorable and soft, but it became obvious to me later that I had a Shinx named Satan. An adorable little ball of electric fuzz. Named Satan. Luckily they get more badass as they evolve so eventually I was stuck with a Luxray named Satan. It was with me throughout all of my journey through Pokemon Diamond, in fact, and remains one of my favorites to this day.

Another fun fact: Satan was a girl. Bow down, motherfuckers.
