Ahem, enough of Nightwish references! Another Finland drawing, although I did this one in the plane on my way there. I had done the vague outline months before and never had the time to complete it, and when I was bored during the flight I thought I'd get back to it. It was good fun, although the wolf looks a bit dopey...

Great picture. I like more your earlier wolf pics, especially the "wedding wolves", but this is a good one also.

Susihukkanen is a good word! How do you feel about 'Nopsa' as a name? Do you think it is a good translation of 'Swift'? Don't mind me, picking your brain.
I'm a bit sad to be back in England, although I don't think mum and I would have got along much longer. Usually 3000km distance is needed for us to be civil. O_o

'Swift'? Nopea, nokkela, sukkela, vikkelä, vuolas... joo, 'Nopsa' on kyllä aika hyvä. Siis nimenä. Nuo muut käännökset eivät kyllä ole niin kelpoja nimeksi. Nopsa on hyvä.

I get along fabulously with most of my family and it's a continues source of unhappiness that I can't spend more time with them. But my mum and I are far too much alike - when we clash, both are too stubborn to apologise or admit that we're wrong. So conflicts ensue. *shrugs*

I don't know what it was about Once, but although I tried time and time again, I could not get into it. Some songs were nice, like Dark Chest of Wonders, but it just wasn't doing it for me. Century Child remains my absolute favourite - Nightwish at their best. Or rather, Tuomas as I liked him best, although I thoroughly approve some of the new directions he has taken. ^_^
