This purple-haired blind beauty has become one of my favorite characters.
Most of Dream's information is on the sheet, but a few things to clarify:
- He is physically a hermaphrodite (able to change his genitalia at will) but uses the "he/his" pronouns.
- He and his twin do, in fact, bone each other if the mood strikes.
- He is entirely blind due to a combination of withering illness from his home planet and the sudden exposure to the sun when they were making their escape to Earth. He relies mostly on sound and touch to get around, and can often be found holding his twin's arm while walking about.
- He, like the rest of his kind, is entirely carnivorous and preys on any non-poisonous animal (including humans, before they were found and educated about Earth customs).
- Pregnancy and childbirth for his kind are nearly painless, and the gestation period is 3-4 months.
Litters usually consist of two sets of twins, and the newborns start eating (mushed-up) meat immediately.
His kind are ruthlessly protective of their litters, and he and his twin will tear apart any threats without hesitation.
(They have a strong affinity with fresh blood, and have been known to make love while rolling in it after a hunt.)
