I too have a negative opinion of the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

They were born of Sith manipulation as a ploy to dethrone the Jedi as Peacekeepers of the Galaxy.

I mean if the Jedi hadn't been so clouded with their arrogance they might have been able to notice the uprising of a Sith in the Imperial Senate and Anakin wouldn't have matured as a Jedi during a time of galactic civil war.
