This was the original dragon I drew for the cover of my book. There was no objection to the art, but ultimately, they wanted something bolder and less detailed for the cover (there's so much detail in this, you lose it at a distance).

I'm still rather proud of this piece, though, so I figure it's time he gets to see daylight. :]
