Effects: He generally keeps a fair amount of steel with him, in the shape of wings on his back when he isn't using it. With his ability, he can shapeshift the metal into various weapons, the rapier being his weapon of choice. Around his neck is a rusted skeleton key, which, when asked, he will only explain: "It was a gift from someone special to me."
Bio: The complete history of Charlemagne Marquis is a mystery, even to himself. He awoke one day in an unimpressive bedroom with no recollection of any day before. He ventured into the town outside, where it seems he was a stranger still, with no one knowing who he was or where he came from. Tossed aside by a secluded society, he got by on his own for some four or five years, before meeting Eleanor.
Eleanor was a young maiden, heir to the throne of the kingdom after her father. With her curious teenage spirit, she stumbled into the chimera one day. They became fast friends, and he even began to develop a love for her. But it wasn't meant to be, as she was engaged to the prince of a neighboring land. So instead, the chimera swore his allegiance to the princess, putting his own life on the line to protect hers as the future queen. That was when he was given his name Charlemagne Marquis.
Today, Queen Eleanor has surpassed Charlemagne in old age, with him having barely aged at all. Captain of the Queen's Guard, he stands at his forbidden love's side from sunrise to sunrise, his only consolation as being her protector.
Personality: Generally a compassionate creature, despite his mischievious nature. Very approachable and friendly, and outgoing to new faces.
Appearance: He generally dresses very loosely, allowing room for his unusual features. A dress shirt that's only half-buttoned, pants and sandals are his usual attire.
