This is my page from last year's HIT THE BEACH,which I've decided to present in color for this month's last hurrah of summer theme....During their mission in the Spontoon Islands (which will be chronicled in the A&Q webcomic),Alex and Denise take time to share some tender moments in the seclusion of Peggy's Grotto on South Island.....The look of this scene was inspired by some vintage 1940's TARZAN Sunday comics pages I found in THE WORLD ENCYCLOPEDIA OF COMICS.
