PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION!


Welcome to another Phase One origin story and the third “corner” of our SUPERverse: “Mighty O’s”!

We realize the last thing this universe needs right now is another story with this kind of content, but we’d like to think “Mighty O’s” will still be unique and different enough to catch your attention.

As the SUPERverse's Chronology currently stands, it can be simply broken down into 4 primary areas of focus, or "corners". The first is the S.U.P.E.R. team and some yet-to-be-introduced factions, Fire Fox and IntraNet are the second, and another is yet to be introduced in story format. The characters within "Mighty O's", however, will be the third corner, largely keeping to themselves until a few Phases in the future, if and when we get to that point.
We want to encourage reading these separate facets of our overall universe, because knowing their ins and outs will make their later collisions all the more worthwhile. But if it's the ultimate collision that finally brings you to look back on a certain area of focus, then that's okay too!

Another fun fact about this story is that it can be traced far back to perhaps my first planted ideas of a superhero universe. Back when I was a kid, I used to have dreams about a small group of babies who would eat a Spaghetti-O’s type food and gain incredible abilities. “Mighty O’s” is heavily based on these dreams! Granted, I will be changing a few things so it can properly fit within my established universe. The most important change is the power set our heroes will be obtaining, which will be drastically different from the dreams’ version, where they simply grow macro. Still, I’m excited and anxious to reveal this deeply-rooted concept and implement it into this universe!

We’ve catered some descriptions based on what we’ve identified as our two main demographics. You can read the single description you prefer, or read both if you’re that interested.


FOR OUR CUB AND “S.U.P.E.R.” FANS:

You can tell from this first chapter that this story will be catering to you quite a lot! In all honesty, at some points this story is for those who feel “S.U.P.E.R.” isn’t cubby enough!

Though its character focus is largely different, fans of the "S.U.P.E.R." series and other babyfur-related stories will undoubtedly enjoy "Mighty O's". The paradigm is merely turned around, so now instead of heroes turning to babies, we get babies turning into heroes.

Some familiar content may be found within this new story, such as the occasional diaper usage and stuff, but this story can also capture that innocence factor that the characters in “S.U.P.E.R.” could not. Those characters were already experienced heroes when they were brought down to cub level, so they still knew what to do and how to do it when the time came to resurface as heroes. The characters within “Mighty O’s”, however, are just cubs when their potential is realized. They don’t know what it means exactly to be a hero or villain, so there will be a lot of innocent mistakes and cute moments as a result. It is in this way that this story will achieve an extra level of cubhood.

Also, if you’re into some older cartoons such as “Fairly OddParents” and “The Powerpuff Girls”, you might be in for a few surprises!


FOR OUR MORE MATURE COMIC FANS (“FIRE FOX” FANS):

Reading this chapter, you’re probably thinking this story won’t hold your attention very well as it goes on. Sure, it will have some content that you may not enjoy, but we’ve kept you in mind when making this story too!

Perhaps most importantly, if the slurred baby talk from our protagonists here is already enough to force you away, PLEASE GIVE US ONE MORE CHAPTER. SOMETHING in the next chapter will happen to make the heroes a little more bearable to listen to. We realize it can be hard to focus on a bunch of cubs who can’t exactly articulate what they’re thinking and feeling, and we’re going to change things a bit so they can become semi-coherent, relatable characters all the same! Give the next chapter a look when it comes and see what you think!

Since we’ve flipped the “S.U.P.E.R.” paradigm to turn some “normal” cubs into heroes here, there will be a lot of improvisation and going against the norms. “Mighty O’s” is a story that will be very aware of the key elements and clichés of a superhero origin story, and one that will use its premise to play around with those expectations. Our heroes here are merely cubs, so they don’t exactly know how to be heroes in the first place. How would they know what exact formula to follow? That question is a big inspiration for us here.

In short, despite the kinds of content that will be displayed, keep those origin story clichés in your mind to see how we have fun parodying them. Focus on that part of the story, and you’ll have a lot of fun reading “Mighty O’s”!



No matter which side of the demographic scale you lean towards, fun is the name of the game with this story. Either way, I’m fairly certain you’ll find something fun and enjoyable about “Mighty O’s”!

I will be trying to start every chapter title in this arc with the word “Mighty”, and to have every second titular word rhyme with “O’s”. We’ll see how long I can keep that up, though.
