SOLDIERS OF GLORY: CHAPTER 11, PK LOVE
It was eight days after the Argules incident, the news on all continents was not the best. The onslaught of Flush, Slowbro, and July, Dragonite, turned out the worst way, citizens were turned into stone or became hostages of Krauser and his army of Hellstalkers that turned the city into ruins and wiped out any form of local resistance. Luke the Totodile had recently arrived on the remote island site of the Soldiers base known as Tree of Life for them and Tree Healer for the other Pokémon, unlike in ancient times the island is now inhabited by Pokémon blessed by a fraction of the power of Xerneas and those who seek help by the plague of petrification.
Taire, Braixen, and Cody, the Charmeleon, were communicating to Madam Xerneas what had happened in Argules while Luke waited in the lodging belonging to Rex the Lucario. Xerneas was always in front of the Tree of Life, this tree was huge and colorful because of its leaves that had the same essence of the powers of the horn of Xerneas, that essence created unique variations of color giving the impression of the tree being a rainbow Alive With two large dungeons in it, the tree had become the lodge and the Soldier control base.
The legendary Pokémon remained apathetic while listening to the report of the Hellstalker invasion of their two subordinates, and after hearing so much the legendary Pokémon speaks with regret:
XERNEAS: Cody, I believe that young Luke still has not coped well with the loss of his younger brother, kindly to comfort his friend. Taire, I still want to talk to you about some things.
Taire tightens his stick near his apprehensive chest, Cody on the other hand was glad to be dismissed and still more in the order given by the madam. The Charmeleon wasted no time and left the front of the Pokémon to see the Totodile inside the Tree of Life, the Braixen to see Cody enter the tree put his twig back in his tail and calmly spoke considering the eyes of Xerneas:
TAIRE: Madam, I did as I was told and asked Rex and Lance to ...
XERNEAS: IT'S ALREADY TAIRE!!
Xerneas spoke loudly and with a serious look, making Braixen take a frightened step back, and so after getting Taire's attention, Madam Xerneas speaks with a serene tone keeping a touch of disappointment in her voice:
XERNEAS: Taire, it's no use telling me Rex's lie, the items I've made for you are connected to me, everything you do and think comes automatically to me thanks to my connection with them. It was the way I decided to act to make sure that I will not be betrayed by my Soldiers .... You will not only suffer a punishment because I know you acted the best you can, and because Rex will be of great help .... After all We do not know all the reasons why the city of Argules has been invaded, and I believe Luke's PSI powers are not the only reason.
Taire is bewildered by something and with a serious look asked:
TAIRE: Luke has not said a word since he lost his younger brother, how did Madam learn of the powers and the principal .... Of the name of his powers?
Xerneas lowered her head and shook her, was visibly annoyed with Taire's impertinent and disrespectful question, it was as if Braixen wanted to accuse the legendary Pokémon of concealing information that would be vital to the entire war against the Hellstalkers. Xerneas raises his head and talks in a natural way without showing any kind of emotion:
XERNEAS: Cody wrapped Luke in his blue cape, and I could immediately detect his power, his thoughts ... Protect Saren .... Do not be a Soldier .... Avoid telling the Lucius that he had been discovered .... I I would say he was under a great deal of inner turmoil because of the raid of the invasion ... Taire, go to your lodge and rest, it was after a long journey and I will later give you details of your next mission, which I hope to be done without insubordination.
Taire did not disguise how frustrated she was with Madam, bowed in a sign of respect into the Tree of Life angry for being snubbed by the legendary Pokémon and at the same time worried about Rex who had not given any news since deciding to stay in Argules four days ago.

Cody then took off his blue cape and hung it on a wooden rag near the bed and lay down beside Totodile who in turn stepped away from the Charmeleon, Cody then said as he grabbed Luke with his claw and placed it on his side:
CODY: Luke, I know it's painful to lose a loved one, but you're going to see Saren ...
Luke could no longer hold himself and started to cry a lot under Cody's hot claw, at which point Taire enters the room and sees the two Pokémon lying on the bed, the Braixen turns around and lies on the right side to be close to the Totodile Making affection in his head empathizing with what the water Pokémon was going through:

July was ordered by the Pokémon board to surrender, but what most Pokémon did not know was that both she and her cops were under the orders of Flush and trapped Pokémon who were against the Hellstalkers to protect them from turning stone into the hand of the villains. Lencia along with the other council members began to serve Krauser, yet beneath the cloths they with the help of the Glory Guild rescued the Pokémon that had been turned into stone and bathed them in the special water table that passed under the guild and that reversed the Effects of black matter on most Pokémon.
Rex and Lance became vigilantes and began attacking Hellstalkers in the dead of night, and they were the only ones who had communication with the outside world thanks to the connection with Madam Xerneas, any other form of communication mainly if using of Gadget was blocked by Hellstalkers ships. Fear took shelter in the forest along with Mei's army, Servine, and Dairou, the Samurott, of Hellstalkers released by Luke's power, Zoroark has trained his little army a lot and with the help of Saren and Ashley who became a spy in disguise, Fear has free access to the city thanks to his illusionist Zoroark ability.
Saren, the Larvitar, is under Fear training, managing to turn his toys into guns to immobilize his enemies with PSI techniques, because he is helping civilians when he needs him to miss his brother and time without him being hard, but he has faith Of Luke's return and fights so that his brother will not have a job when he returns. Ashley thanks to her social status has become a secretariat of the Hellstalkers, serving them in their ships, she is the unique spy that has direct access to the fleet of dominated by Dark Matter and shares its information with Trevor and Fear.

Luke understood nothing and knelt on the ground frustrated, tears came soon after with sadness for thinking that it was a sign that he could not keep his promise and therefore could not save anyone. Totodile then gritted his teeth, hit hard on the floor, and stood up shortly afterwards shrieked as he wiped his tears:
LUKE: I'M CLEARING, I'M GETTING LESS, I'M GETTING TO FIND THAT I'M NOTHING. I SAID ONCE AND I WILL NOT RETURN, I WILL PROTECT ALL THE POKEMON I LOVE EXCEPT, AND PROTECT ALL THOSE WHO NEED ME, IT IS MY PROMISE AND MY DESIRE AND I GO TO THE END WITH THAT AND WHEN THE END IS COMING, I WILL HAVE YOU RIGHT TO MARRY, BUT NOT BEFORE THEM!!

It was then when the embarrassing silence was cut by a simple laugh of Xerneas that left Luke red, it was then that the Totodile first heard the voice of the legendary Pokémon and for some reason the feminine tone of Xerneas made Luke feel safe, as if Talk to someone you know:

Totodile then gritted his teeth, hit hard on the floor, and stood up shortly afterwards shrieked as he wiped his tears:
LUKE: I'M CLEARING, I'M GETTING LESS, I'M GETTING TO FIND THAT I'M NOTHING. I SAID ONCE AND I WILL NOT RETURN, I WILL PROTECT ALL THE POKEMON I LOVE EXCEPT, AND PROTECT ALL THOSE WHO NEED ME, IT IS MY PROMISE AND MY DESIRE AND I GO TO THE END WITH THAT AND WHEN THE END IS COMING, I WILL HAVE YOU RIGHT TO MARRY, BUT NOT BEFORE THEM!!
The red puddles then began to gather in Luke's body, at first Totodile was very frightened only that something inside him made him feel that it was a good thing and let his body be taken by the red water. Luke then opened his eyes and everything had returned to normal, it just seemed that Xerneas was smaller, in fact everything seemed smaller for him, it was then that Luke went to work on his scarf and saw that his arm had grown, all his had grown ... He then saw that he was no longer a Totodile and that he had become a Croconaw, Xerneas then said:

Xerneas then said clearly:
