When I come up with an idea to draw, there's two factors in play, it has to look like an awesome idea to me, and it has to push my artistic limits. Both of these factors came into play in this piece, which I spent a good 3h30m on. This character however, it's the first time anyone's seeing him, though I've had him conjured up in my mind for years.

There's a universe in my head that only exists in my mind. This is Roh'Thek, the god of Darkness. He wishes to plunge the world into deep darkness so he can rule it uncontested, however, he needs to eliminate his opponents first to make sure his rule will never be contested. He is a wolf-like ghost-like demon who feeds off the darkest thoughts of humanity. He has a host named Dyonisius who keeps him from losing power from lack of dark thoughts, and both of them are mostly as one, though Roh'Thek always keeps his host alive, even in certain death, through a lifeline. Inseparable bond.

Here we see him rampaging on Cyphex city in this timeline where he has killed all his competition and begins his conquest of the world. The man who recorded this knows he is about to die, hopefully his camera survives to tell the tale of the rise of Roh'Thek.
