I could've sworn I'd posted this to FA already, but apparently I hadn't. This is another recent commission piece I did. The commissioner was 
Journeymanic as a gift for 
Defiance. Ike and General Nyxis seem to be enjoying each others company.
There were several facets of this piece that I was very proud of, but I am particularly proud of the translucent nature of her wngs. Also the backlighting of the two dancers. The piece was done in my usual colored pencil, marker pen, technical pen, and gouache. Image size is roughly 12"x 15" on vellum finish Bristol Board.

It's a crystalline eye patch. Defiance could explain it better, but apparently it was a very, very important part of the character for a while.
