A burst of inspiration brought this baby to life earlier today. I've got her more or less all worked out besides a name.
I must admit, she doesn't look much like a Pidgeotto facially, but she'd look odder to me if I drew HER with a beak and all my other characters with human features, so hey.
Her hand seems huge, but she's actually meant to have rather long fingers.
She's a senior, and quite straightfoward/ballsy, not confrontational as such, but sure as Hell won't back down if confronted. Huge fan of Vendor Thrash.
Very hands-on and technical - she aspires to work in a mechanical-based field when she graduates.
Btw, septum piercing remains tucked up at school, and her hair colour is natural due to species and all that jazz.

Yeah, sometimes I do animal heads for a change of pace, but generally they just look funky. :S

When her hair is left to it's own devices it sticks out like the headcrest, but she prefers it like this [she had spiky all-over-the-place hair beforehand, so when she evolved she decided to make a change]. But yeah, without the tail visible, she does very much look like a Pidgey, I do agree. I'll try drawing her from a back angle next time. C:
