OH-MY-GOSH
I can't believe how much I improved over this past year, it's actually quite scary to me ;u; I', very proud of myself and initially thought I wouldn't improve much at all. But I ended up surprising myself in the end.
This year I really wanted to focus more on using colors since I felt my work was very stagnant and not vibrant or well balanced with colors at all. I think this year shows the very beginnings of understanding it more and beginning to use it properly or to my own liking!
I also wanted to focus more on using backgrounds and rendering them. I felt like my work was really lacking in that and I pushed myself to learn how to do the basics for backgrounds and their compositions. Even making my pieces more interesting somewhat dynamic c:
Traditional work wasn't put in because I really wanted to focus more on digital stuff x3
I'm pleased with my hard work this year ;u; And I honestly hope that I only continue to improve like this, if not more, in the new year! Thank you all who have been keeping up with my journey quietly and even so much as helping me achieve more!
