It is nice to see you expand out into stuff like this at least this one time. Kind of that thing you need to see just so your audience knows that not all prey are completely safe, but it's the exception to the rule.

Arbok is such a sweetheart when talking to A. That sudden mood shift from her (almost seductive) predatory side is an adorable contrast, haha! Also love the swallowing panels, as usual. You just keep getting better (and with snakes especially)!

Surprised to see digestion from you that wasn't merely implied and/or a commission request, but it's a very interesting view into another part of Arbok's personality! And she's right back to being sweet and adorable in the end, which seems perfectly fitting. Snakes gotta eat, doesn't mean she's a monster.

Hopefully she's polite enough not to eat A until her stomach's cleared. That...could get messy.

Great work! I feel as if those fold like lines show her tightening on the poor buizel. The ending may be sad but still an overall masterpiece.

The main thing that bugs me about this is her inconsistency. She's a mean predatory, and even sadistic snake that devours others whole and digests them alive, but will still have 'friends' that could otherwise be on her prey list. What diffrentiates her 'friends' like A, Pieree or Seviper from being food?

What an interesting turn of events. I believe this is the first time anything you've done on your own has involved a dark edge. I remember the one comic you did some time ago where you did the funny thing that involved there being 2 A's, because you wanted to allow the audience to make up their own minds about whether A ended up being food or let go. A comical sense of mystery that one was. I wonder though, does her personality have to change so much? I'm reminded a little bit of the newer version of Kaa from the live action jungle book. Arbok has always struck me as a compassionate and caring character since her creation by you. I'm not sure the darkness in her attitude is fitting but then who am I to talk since she's your creation. I always thought that if something like this were to happen, she'd do her best to make her meal comfortable or less panicked, similar to how Kaa is kind of a temptress. I'm not talking a use of hypnotism or anything, but I just feel like Arbok would use methods of psychology to make her prey more relaxed and willing. She's just never struck me as cruel. Teasing, yes. But never cruel. I still enjoyed the comic however. Seeing you do your own work never gets old.

Took a look at it, and yeah, given the content of it I can see why you made this. I did something similar a long time ago with writing. Pretty sure tons of people have had reactions to things they didn't agree with at some point in their lives. I saw your journal by the way and I wanted to assure you that I'd never unfav or unwatch you over something like this. I've been a fan and a follower for such a long time that if anything I'd stick around due to this content. Mostly because I'd be concerned about what triggered it and I'd want to help if I could.

It happens when you do mostly safe or vague vore before switching over to outright fatal. But at the very least it's what the majority are into x3

I just think it's because of the inconsistency. Again, I wouldn't have minded too much if Arbok was a sadistic, not so nice pred, as shown here; in fact, I might have liked her; look at all the fatal vore in my favourites. But the fact that she can be kind, gentle and loving to some, but horrible to others I don't find fun. That Buizel could've been the nicest friend she could've ever had, given the chance. It's like Harry Potter protecting his fellow students from evil, then turning around and killing his professors. And I can 'understand' the part about needing to eat, but again, what differentiates any of her friends from food? A coincidence of happening to meet under favourable circumstances? (I know it's because you want to fantasize about being swallowed whole by her, I'm just making a point. :P) There's also the moral principles of her killing multiple sentient beings like her to survive, yada yada yada, but I've gone on long enough.

One other thing though: you lied to your DeviantArt followers about the Buizel being digested so you wouldn't lose any watchers, or have to deal with the comments from the upset 9 year olds. Why? I understand those reasons, but don't they deserve to know as much as we do about the full intent of the message you are trying to convey with your artwork? (I know I'm over-dramatising this, I'm just saying.)

Not surprising, a lot of people made assumptions about you that weren't quite true, and the whole safe vs fatal vore thing can be... passionate.

i actually prefer unwilling/fatal myself, i watch you mostly for the rare unwilling commissions you get now and then so im totally okay with what you did x3

I kinda like the fact Arbok is very vague about it, probably to ensure he keeps struggling. Spirited would seem like an odd choice of words if it was after the fact.

cant see arbok the same after this. it is in fact unsettling to see the mood shift. when a more innocent and light-hearted character does something morally wrong.
