Finally got Vanta all finished up how he's supposed to look!  Athume worked closely with me to get all the details right - he's been excellent, so if clean sci-fi images are your jam, definitely consider him!

Some information, since people often ask:

Vanta was synthesized by Vantage Enterprises a couple of hundred years from the present day. VF-092 stands for 'Vantage Frame 92', because he was the 92nd one manufactured - a few years down the line from being made he was shot with a massive EMP that completely reset his mind, so all the military training he'd been given (they have to be trained, not programmed) was gone; and what you're left with is a completely sapient creature with no ties to his manufacturer, that can still access the Vantage infrastructure.

His energy all comes from his Ambient Engine, a distributed layer of electro-thermal material which collects ambient heat from the environment and powers him. This makes him quite cold to the touch, and means that on hotter days/in warmer environments you'll see him glow brighter to dump out the excess energy he doesn't use. He's also pretty fantastic if you're too hot in the summer. x)

He's not metallic, also! He's got a matte finish which feels and acts a bit like silicon, just rather tougher.
