I don't often share my prelim-work. However, I feel like sharing lately, so...here's Farfalla. I'm working on several sketches of her but can't seem to get it right, so I tried some sketching excersizes in Photoshop to "re-learn" the character as it were. I think part of my problem is that I second-guess myself too much...so for this excersize I limited my use of the erase tool to three glaring errors. After that, I did not allow myself to erase anything.

Used the basic brush, size 3, to sketch with. :3

I loathe the headshot in the lower corner...looks too quarterhorsy to be an Arabian. Oh well. I like the pose on the full body sketch, even with a few anatomy errors.

Added text so it wouldn't look so terribly unfinished or whatever. I hate sharing sketchwork so I wanted to at least do SOMETHING to make it look all...I dunno, presentable. :P
