The sergal was drowsy, having just woken from a nap in the warm lodge in the woods that he and his mate were staying in. The cold breeze from under the door drew him outside, only to find the beautiful sight of freshly fallen, puffy white snow. The clearing nearby was untouched, not even a single animal track to be seen, and for that moment, knowing everything around him was perfect, all that Xander could do was smile.
