was talkin with friends today n they were joking that i was a mermaid in a past life. i don't disagree with them.
I've had a uncontrollable affinity to water since birth [and swam like a mermaid even though my swim instructor tried to teach me other ways and before i knew of mermaids. haha oops]

I was caught in a riptide back in savannah georgia when i was around age 10 and even though i was choking on sea water and sand and i couldn't see which way was up [when i thought i found up i smashed my face into sand A+ me]
i felt like it would be ok. i didn't panic. I let it do with me as it needed. i surfaced almost half a mile away from my parents without any worse for wear.

And if you can captain a sailboat you bet your ass i want in on it. there's nothing more freeing than being atop the ocean in a small boat without a motor to drown your thoughts.
