It's another sunny day and Xionix had planned a surprise for a new friend of him, Jade a Canadian Shark. He knew Jade birthday was around the corner and believing she was going to be super busy, he decides to give her an early gift.

He drives to Jade house and nocks on the door but to his surprise, there was no answer. He waits a couple minutes expecting anything, but just as he is turning around to leave, there is Jade arriving wearing a sports bra and shorts, finishing her morning jog. Looking at those abs he believed this most be her routine to keep in shape. Jade sweating heavily but breathing normally, very used to this by now.

"Hey Xion, what's up? I was not expecting you here"

"Wow you keep yourself fit"

"Hehe yes I do, thanks"

"Anyway, so I had something for you in mind, something I'm sure you will like"

"Oooh what is it, I like surprises, but whatever it is, it has to wait, gotta take a shower. Here come on in, you can wait on the living room, I won't take long"

Jade opens her house and Xion goes in. "You can grab anything to drink, I will be out on a moment". He does decide to grab some water, but when he goes to the kitchen and open a few cabinets, all he can found is Vodka, energy drinks and syrup, but mostly vodka. He keeps on searching until he finally finds some water. It took him so much time, that when he goes back to the living room, Jade is already coming out. Him expecting to see her in some more casual clothing, she just putted on another set of sports bra and shorts.

"You are always wearing sports clothing?"

"Maybe I do maybe I don't, maybe I just like showing my abs" Said jade and she giggles after. "So what is it you wanted to show me?" Said as she grabbed an energy drink and sit on a sofa.

"Can't tell you, gotta show you but we have to hit the road, it will take an hour or 2, the things is, it's a surprise so I would have to blindfold you, otherwise it beats the purpose"

"I don't know, kinda just met you" She responded, obviously not convinced.

"Ask Cyana" He said.

Giving him a look, she puts her hand on her sports bra and takes out her phone and gives Cyana a call.
(O-Kay...wait, is she calling her right now? Does Cyana even have a phone?, i though she would be little too shy to talk trough a phone)

"Hey Cyana this is Jade, how are you doing today?... Same here, hey I got a question for you, Xionix is inviting me to a place down the road, but he is asking me to go blindfolded as its parts of a surprise and just want your opinion on him....okay....alright... OK, thanks I get it,take care now *hangs up*

"She said you seemed ok"

"See I told you"

"No, she said you seemed okay, not that YOUR okay. Different things...but I agree with her, you seem to be legit I will trust you on this one, but try anything and *Jade makes a grin and makes a smacking gesture with her fits*

"Relax I get, I won't do anything stupid, promise you won't regret it." Making a worry expression at the threat.

"So should I take anything" She ask.

"Probably warmer clothing"

"Pfft I'm good, cmon who you think your talking to?" She grins.

And with that said, they go to Xion car and start driving. But 15 minutes in.. "OK, gotta blindfold you to not ruin the surprise". Still a little reluctant agrees, and the next hour and a half is just idle chit chat, talking some simple things like favorite color, movie, etc; to more serious and personal questions.
Chatting did helped time go faster for both, making almost a 2 hour drive feel like nothing.

At some point road gets bumpier as they headed into a more rural road. But finally arriving at their destination.

"We are here but don't take off the blind fold just yet" And then Xionix gets off the car and Jade hears some noise outside the door next to her. Then she hears as he opens the back door, more noise and then closes it.
Anxiously waiting, she hears the door next to her opening as a chill sensation gets inside the car. She is trying to feel where the car ends to not fall down "Here, let me help you" And Xionix holded Jade by her hand and helped her out of the car.
She gets an even colder sensation around her but feels something flat where she is standing.
Letting her go "Okay you can take it off now"

And she lowers her face as she removes the blindfold. First thing she sees is a plank of wood where she is standing "A plank of wood? Why am I.... " and she stopped only to see the beautiful snowy landscape around her, white covered mountains on the far, snow falling around her, all trees are pure white. A place not touched by the hand of civilisation, a really breath taking view.

"Sorry about the plank, if you had felt snow on your feet you would had guessed" Said to Jade, and just as she is turning around to thank Xionix who is standing behind her "I know it's still a month till your birthday but assumed you would be busy so here you go" And he extends a small cake with a single candle, which had a snowflake landed on top of.

"Happy birthday, I heard you like snow and beach, so it was a 50/50 chance I selected the correct one" He said to her and smiled.
