Here's a belated "Throwback Thursday" offering with one more 'photo-op' taken in the downtown Miami (Florida) area - while I was in town (during late November, 2016) to attend the annual "Miami Book Fair International"...
After checking out the Bayfront Park (open-air) shopping mall, I was starting to make me way to Miami-Dade College (where said book fair took place), when I saw one of Miami's main attractions on Biscayne Boulevard: the Freedom Tower. This place is to Cuban refugees, what Ellis Island (in New York City) is to all other foreigners coming to America...
In fact, the Freedom Tower was the hub of activity last month, following the passing of long-time Cuban President Fidel Castro...
I took two pictures of the building, and this one was the better of the two.
