A quick sketch of Skaver of Timbervale, a goblin woman in her mid-twenties.
Skaver (named after a type of skinning knife) is a character I may use in my ongoing D&D campaign, and she's a character I may end up using in the next HOT GOBLIN GIRLS book, though she may be altered from what's here depending on the needs of that story. (The books and the campaign, though sharing the same setting, I consider to be in separate continuities.)
Skaver's original clan, the Wolfscar Clan, was wiped out by human soldiers. One of the fighters, sickened by the slaughter, risked much by saving the infant Scaver, and smuggler her out as he defected shortly afterward. He raised her as his own daughter, along with his two natural-born human sons.
That soldier later became mayor of a very prosperous trading town. Skaver helps her aging father in running the town, and has her hand in dozens of deals and ventures, not all of which are legitimate. She is brash and coarse and always has some scheme hatching in her mind. She has a notorious on-again, off-again affair with Grimbal, the dwarf running the town's somewhat infamous Owlbear Wagon venture. Though not too obvious in thsi sketch, she has three jagged scars across her face, te mark of the wolf's claw used to mark her as a member of her clan shortly after birth.
In D&D terms, Skaver is a Rogue and is well trained in fighting, stealth and commerce. She has a magic dagger and necklace given to her by her father for her won protection. most of the town's people are very familiar with her, and either respect her or outright support her despite her goblin heritage. Skaver is not in line to inherit her father's position, being adopted and a female goblin besides, but she is seen as being far smarter and more competent than her two somewhat incompetent younger human brothers. Everyone is certain that while her brothers will nominally be in charge when their father passes, Skaver will end up being the true brains and power behind the town.
I have no idea if the party will actually end up encountering her or not, as there are several different paths they could take. We'll see.
