Builders of the World #5: Sin and Von
5: Sin, Mistress of the Moon and Von the Sentinel / Warriors of Moonlight / Blades of the Wolfslayer
These two companions in war once stood as mighty representatives of the creatures and forces of the night, such as bats and wolves and even the first Werewolves of their respective era as they coexisted with Yorath, Father of Wolves.
Sin also greatly respected and loved Ana despite their personal differences.
During the War of the Rift, however, they found themselves at odds with the mighty Father of Wolves; a dispute that caused a great sorrow, resulting in a battle to the death.
They teamed up with a band of human warriors to slay this beast, most notably a human blacksmith known in the best-preserved books as the northern warrior Karl Ansgar.
To honour this great battle the Blades of the Wolfslayer were founded; each descendant of Ansgar would eventually inherit their leadership until the rise of King Anthony of Esterland, when the last descendant vanished; from this point on the organisation would take a vote on their leadership.
It is unknown what eventually happened to Sin as most of her effigies were destroyed after the great war, and most of her temples smashed to ruins; some faded writing infers heinous blasphemy and betrayal, while rumours run in the Southern wastes of a pale titan guarding a forgotten tomb.
