Commission for Masterdramon3, his gargirl Makani.

Makani is a Polynesian gargoyle who features in Masterdramon3's fanfic Hawaiki, where most of the clan have an avian appearance, but no tails. Makani is a big strong girl like Constance, however she's a bit lacking in the confidence department.

Her most distinctive feature is her kakau, the traditional tattoos, on her left arm. Whoever had to animate Maui in Moana must have had the patience of a saint!

I know that it's difficult for gargoyles to keep a tattoo, but here is Masterdramon3's explanation as to how Makani has one: Gargoyles normally have difficulty keeping tattoos due to stone sleep, but the method practiced in ancient Hawaii (in essence, cutting out pieces of skin and pouring ink made of soot/ash in the open wound) is permanent enough to overcome the natural healing process.
