challenging is good, i usually don´t try it cause i´m afraid to be frustrated, is kinda hard to make a step forward. But will be fun.

You already got much better and I'm pretty sure you will developing much more over the time -
but don't put you too much under pressure for it. When i compare the colouring of the elder pictures with the recent ones, it's really amazing! Don't worry too much about your style you're on the right way to perfect it ^_^

Before I even read the description, I noticed that the deer boys head was sharper, and seemed to be more angled and mature than your usual style. I'm all a fan of cute stuff, but I really, really like how these sketches came out. Keep it comin'!

Sometimes you just need to try new styles. They may not turn out as well as styles you are more comfortable with, but sometimes you need to make a drastic change. You can also do pics in other moods. I have done sad pictures in my "cute" style and they completely unique. Of course, not everyone has the inspiration to draw sad pics. But with a little empathy, anything is possible. :D

I really like the face on the deer, he seems an older attractive rather than just super-cute.

No se que decirte. Lo unico que parece que tiene "en comun" tus personajes es que la mayoria tiene la misma cara redondilla; y aunque supongo que tiene mucho que ver con la especie, tambien parece tener que ver con el "look".

It can be tough and incredibly frustrating, but you've got the right idea in regards to challenging yourself for growth. *nods*

You're a fantastic artist as it is, but I do agree that two of the most important things when it comes to doing art are being comfortable with your style and being happy with your own work. The second one is a bit tricky, though, because artists tend to be their own worst critics; you'll occasionally see problems that aren't really there and second-guess yourself... it can be a pain in the butt. XD

In any case, I certainly wish you the best of lucking in evolving and adapting your work to the point that you're satisfied with it. I noticed that, in these doodles, you took a much more mature approach to the appearances of the characters and it definitely paid off. They look great. *nods* :3

A change of style is always good for any artist. It allows them to feel more accomplished and grow in their skills.

Your style is good but I do think maybe you should try something a little more... angled, sleek, and serious looking. Cute things are nice, but... there's alot of artists who can do a mix of both cute and serious, sometimes interchangably.

Anyway, that's just my opinion, but I'm a guy who likes Sin City and things that are heavily stylized, though I really do enjoy your work, dearest. :3
