Caught this pair of Cardinals outside snacking on the bird seed I scatter for them daily . Its still snowing here, and the birds are always hungry and trying to stay warm.

Funny thing is, you often see Christmas cards, seasonal pillows, fleece blankets featuring a pair of cardinals, always two male cardinals, unless they are gay, really don't tolerate each others company.

BTW, the male is in the foreground, the more drab female behind.
