It was surreal--a towering collection of grey and blue towers cradled between two reefs. Many spires spiraled upward from the main palace, crowning the city with exotic twists and curves. Lexal's awed features glowed faintly from the crystal torch he weilded in one paw. As different currents rippled through the expanse of water, he wondered how long this luminous work of beauty and architecture had been here and, more importantly, what it held.
