There was only the one. I think it was orignally a Hawk model kit, but maybe not. This was some far more recent re-issue and might have been under a different brand.

The 1/48th Pogo kit here should be by Lindberg. There is also a Kopro Kit in 1/72nd scale.
The Lindberg kit is currently in production and available through various NA distributors.

Now that you mention it, it was probably Lindberg.

The Pogo was supposedly a pretty good flier, with that big prop wash going over the wings, and dreadfully short moment. Good flier for a fighter that is. The Services and everyone were very 'speed' obsessive back then, and if it didn't go supersonic, it wasn't worth having.

Aside from the landing difficulty, the other issue was the gearbox for the YT-40 engine liked to turn itself into expensive glitter when subjected to the 7,000shp or so the paired turboshafts put out.

I doodled up a two-seater version awhile back, that was in a fictional world a misbegotten hand me down to the US Army, who flew it as an OAFV-1G FAC aircraft, with two of the tip pods housing 70mm smoke ( *cough *cough* key west accords) rockets.

I need to WHIF that with one of the Lindberg kits. I love all those giant overscale raised rivets.

I'm almost surprised some idiot hasn't tried to ressurect the Pogo plane. With computers to do the landing, you might almost be able to pull it off. Oh, wait... I forgot about the Osprey. And look how badly that turned out.
