After seeing a pic drawn for my friend  soulblader I decided to fund a talented artist named NightHead. He is so awesome and good at his craft that he managed to help me work on Kay's design and his powers so thanks for that man.

Speaking of his powers:

Kay's Shadow Rune is a Darkness Type. The user can create and manipulate their shadows, capable of making them physical and alter them in into different shapes and sizes. Also an ability they have makes the users powers stronger in the dark mostly at night. With this he is able to fire off shadow blasts with his fists or punch and kick enemies augmented with shadows for greater impact.
