So, I had a go at drawing the dragon clans/tribes/species from the Wings of Fire book series. I drew them in my style, hopefully keeping with most of the details of the original designs.
Anyone who watches me on tumblr, or has reblogged/liked my posts there, will have seen the sketch, lineart, and base colour progress.

This is my version of a SeaWing, one whom I've named Sturgeon. Keeps to himself, grumpy, and tends to stick to shallower waters.

Coloured with: watercolour paint base, Polycolour pencils, and assorted markers.
