Anybody remember the movie The Chipmunk Adventure? Either way, it is a very fond childhood memory of mine, and I just love some of the music from it.
So, here is a piece something I've composed from scratch, but is sort of a combined remix of multiple songs from that movie, resulting in a very happy upbeat trance track that I hope you all enjoy ^^

I was surprised at the turn it took after the calm start! Well, it still sounds calm, just... with a beat to it. Though I've never heard of the film, I like it - you have a nice, rather soothing and unobtrusive(?) set of samples, and the melodic nature of it puts it far above the usual sort of mindless repetitive image that a lot of people have of the "trance" genre. And you completely avoided the fadeout that I was expecting to complain about internally, as well :)
Is it odd to say - not having the film for context - it reminds me of the soundtrack to Lemmings? It definitely has an updated-retro-game feel to it, in any case.

I have to thank you for the percussion samples....even though the percussion is simple in this piece, I think it is all samples you gave me ^^
Either way, I'm glad you liked it....I too have often disliked how repetitive trance can be sometimes, so whenever I've written trance I've tried to make my songs both shorter and a little more varied :) ....thanks for the comments ^^
