A maquette of Elise from my comic Persona Animus. It is showing its age a bit.
Super Sculpey over a simple wire armature. Her tail is picture hanging wire, built up with clay at the base. Her whiskers are twist-tie wires. Painted with Ral Partha figure paints on primer.

I've seen 3D scanners that can generate models based on sculptures, but they're a bit out of the average person's price range. And they require a lot of cleanup work to get the model to an acceptable polycount.
Modeling this would be lots of fun though. The dress might be challenging to rig up (needs cloth simulation most likely) , but it would make for a great character.

It's about six inches to the top of her head (which makes it 1/3 scale).
The armature is minimal, just twisted armature wire (about the same gauge as a coat hanger but easier to bend) in the shape of an upside-down Y with 'feet.' One arm of the Y goes down each leg into the base, and the top goes through her neck so her enormous noggin doesn't break off. You'll notice that I kept her arms close to her body so I didn't have to make separate armatures for them.
If a sculpture gets much bigger than this I'd want to use a tightly-compressed ball of tinfoil as a core for thicker masses like the head, or the sculpey won't be able to bake thoroughly.

I like her- My favourite character of your strip, obviously.... But then, I like mice, since my principle character is a mouse (although much taller, given that Amy is just shy of 4' tall, fully grown at 30, she could easily hold Elise in her hands, yet they're probably about the same intelligence :) )....
Nice work on the sculpture of Elise. :)

Icon love
Most people older than four can hold Elise easily, to her chagrin. =) http://sankam.deviantart.com/art/Fl.....oodle-61164815
Elise is actually small even by her world's standards. Most mice in Persona Animus are three or four feet tall as adults.

About the icon, thanks. :) As with everything in my FA gallery, all drawings were done for me or with my permission, as I can't draw, but I CAN write. :) (And thanks for the +fave of "Amy Not good"- That was actually the first pic of Amy ever drawn for me. :) ) And yes, the icon is my mousie Amy, of course, partaking of one of her passions- wearing panties (especially cheese-print panties). :)
Amy herself is smaller than the typical mouse of her version of Earth- Most mice are 4'6"-5', whereas Amy is a mere 3'11", full-grown. The average fur on her Earth is the same as the average human on our RL Earth. Despite her size (and sometimes her demeanour), she is brighter than the average, with an IQ of about 130 or so. (She doesn't always act her age, even though she's retro in many ways, she certainly feels it, being 30....) She doesn't think of herself as special in any way, in spite her odd eyes and the indestructible tailbow that never comes off, or in how multifaceted her personality is. (Her description is my Featured Submission on my FA page.)
I do watch you on deviantART, too, although I much prefer it here at FurAffinity. I've also been actively promoting Persona Animus both here and on another furry-themed webcomic's forum, for like-minded fans there, especially when other readers there asked about other recommended strips. :) (the webcomic at http://www.genecatlow.com )
It'd be interesting (if unlikely, given different worlds) to see Amy and elise meet... ;) (Don't worry- Amy is actually very good at taking "NO" and "not interested" for an answer, but would prefer staying on friendly terms if the option is there... :) )
