I remember him being captured in the old TMNT NES game. Same pose as well! I assume that this is how he would have looked had the image been less, well, pixelated. >X3

yes indeed me lady, I remember this scene from the NES game and a clip on youtube refreshed my memories so I drew this some years ago and it merged with one of the old 87 cartoon episodes where the turtles had to rescue Splinter who was hanging tied up like this (but ungagged) in the technodrome^^

Ah. I actually didn't watch the cartoon. ^^; Although by default I can tell yours is better since a gag is added. >:3

the scenario was in one the very early episodes of the first season in 1987 but I can´t remember the title^^;

Dont worry. I didn't watch very much of the cartoon on the TV. I was kinda born a bit late ^^;

He looks very flustered about it all! He shouldn't worry too much, I'm sure the turtles will help him out... if they are not captured themselves

maybe his ear is itching like hell and he can´t scratch it. If I would have an itch while being tied up, it would drive me crazy

Splinter really doesn't look happy about being tied up, though obviously putting up a struggle it looks like he's tightly bound and possibly suspended at a great height above the ground. I'm guessing he's probably feeling embarrassed and annoyed at managing to get himself in this situation and probably wondering just how long it might take his sons to get around to turning up to rescue him. Of course with this being the 87 Splinter, he might be worried about undergoing the ultimate form of torture, especially if it was Don Turtelli behind his capture. Most likely it's Shredder of course, though it might be funny if it was Irma deciding she really did think Splinter was cute and wanted to share one of her secret passions with him.

Still Splinter shouldn't feel too bad about this situation, since he's not the only highly talented anthro rat to end up in such a predicament.
