Miralis emerged from the waters and slowly clambered onto land. Through the corner of his eye he saw the young Antraeol curled up near the shore, fast asleep. His sleep seemed troubled almost, and approaching the sleeping elder confirmed Miralis’ thoughts. He was crying in his sleep.

What could he have been dreaming about? Antraeol refused to discuss it when he awoke some hours later, so Miralis did not press the question. When Ala was ready to talk about it, he’d be there to listen.

Couldn’t sleep, so sketched something I had in mind up real quick. Some further insight into the daily lives of the two ‘antagonists’ of my side-canon. Ala might be rough around the edges and a bit childish, but he’s got concerns of his own too. Tbh, I’m not fully happy with how I drew lil’ ala here, but am quite happy with how Miralis turned out. Overall it’s a fairly good sketch though ^_^
