I'm currently doing a kind of ArtTrade with Riffuchs, he makes the animatronics for the ears of my new suit and in return gets some art from me. Originally he wanted just a simple no-background-commission, but I thought that wouldn't be fair, so he got an additional badge.

And after talking about some ideas for that yesterday somehow my muse touched me and I knew what I would try: I'd give him a sly grin and the appearance of a medieval book illustration (sans the art, which I did in my normal style).
So I researched that a little and did a sketch last night, and today I transferred it to a paper I had coloured with some Earl Grey tea (I somewhere and somewhen learnt art forgers really use this to mimic aged paper) coloured it with polychromos and some gold and siver acrylic paint, and ...well, here it is.
