I was about to decommission my fountain pen, when I thought I could try to doodle with it, and see how well it preforms. It surprised me how fine the lines could be, but filling out larger areas is a pain and I tried to avoid it in the end, using hatching and cross hatching instead.
Also, the similarity with a bird was unintentional until I was almost done and suddenly saw a bird shape.
