Hmm yeah, the chest piece evokes the idea of breasts which isn't right for a kobold...

yeah. i had some on-paper stuff that was a more squared-off, overlapped design in the on-paper sketches for this, but it didn't work with the shape of the shoulder piece when I was redoing it on the computer. I like the new shoulder a lot better than the one I did on paper, so when I redraw this one I'll be focusing on making the chest piece match that while still feeling "insufficient" and cobbled together

I hate it. I wanted something that would have a more "leftover metal bits from something else, strapped on as armor" aesthetic. but I'll need to mess around a lot with the shapes of everything to achieve that and still have good composition to the character design
