Consider me on the Bandwagon... here is a picture of my room and my computer area. 46" Sharp LCD at 1920x1080 that I use as a monitor. The desk I got free from the place I used to work (they still make that desk and it costs over $1000 new) The computer is in the armoire beside the desk and that is my new Yamaha Home Theater Stereo I got a couple weeks ago. Yes, that is a car subwoofer and I did hook it up and it does shake the walls (bought it to put in my Mercedes but the trunk is so well soundproofed, you can't hear it...) The laptop is a convertible tablet that I use mainly for Photoshop stuff (it's a Cintiq that is portable and I can read email or watch a movie with)

Awesome, you have a soundproof trunk? You ought to do some kidnapping with that thing! Also that screen looks awesome, must be a blast to play and watch movies with! Especially with a decent looking speaker set. Oh damn I so wish I was you, all I can afford is a 24" 1920x1080 and AKG headphones, and while they're both nice my e-peen is smaller by a magnitude when compared to yours :| marry me?
Sadly no, it would be a shallow relationship built on material things... my material things as it happens. I originally bought this for my living room but I moved into a house I share with a room mate and ended up moving it into my room so it doesn't disturb him.
It really isn't that expensive compared to other hobbies or pass times. Everything you see costs less than one pair of medium/good quality snow skies and related sundries, is no where near as expensive as even an old used bass boat or a decent SCUBA rig. Of course I didn't buy it all at once either so it didn't hurt as much as you might think.
My e-peen comes with another price you may not think about, this rig generates massive amounts of heat and without an ac running it will get very hot very quick.
