Since I'm out of town at the moment, here's a picture of my PC desk in the Summer of 2007.
I still the have the same desk, bu I've since replaced the Printer, Speakers, Nikes, Power Supply, cable modem, Linksys router and most of what's inside the computer case. I still need to upgrade (2004 vintage Athlon XP 3000) but its like an old car I'm conformable with and I don't want to get rid of. But that may change soon.
The turntable is a classic Technics SL-1200 that I picked up cheap ($50!) from a radio station that I worked for 10 years ago. All it needed was a new cartridge. The (hidden) ancient 50 watt pioneer amp was something my brother left at my parents house. It had some dirty switches that needed to be cleaned.
I've been using it as a pre-amp for the turntable into the PC and a headphone amp. It was supposed to be a temp setup for dubbing vinyl to CD-R/Mp3 but I liked the way it sounded.

I remember those Technics SL-1200's well...both of the stations where I worked when I played records live on the air had them. We also had some older Technics with separate wood Micro-trak tonearms which had 78 speed and the chief engineer even got a Stanton 78 magnetic stylus for me...I dubbed some 78's for on-air play onto the DALET computer system.
