Personal Info:
Always an over-achiever, little Aksel was, and because of it, he only ever saw the short end of the stick socially. This stifled his confidence dramatically, the poor pudgy boy sticking to his textbooks, decorating his walls with certificates and assurances of a wonderful academic future.

So driven to become more accepted, to both metaphorically and literally break free from his shell, Aksel began to exercise excessively. Making use of both his local and at-home gyms, he would work out until reaching a point beyond exhaustion, often found each morning in a crumpled heap on the floor. Willpower was strengthened by blind determination, but his fainting reflex was severely dilipitated by the same cause.

After a short period of time, he triggered a forced evolution, bringing forth several complications. He was thrust into intensive care, being able to do little more than breathe and flex his fingers. His body refused to grow to its full potential, wings not developing any further than stumps portruding from his shoulderblades, and his height severely affected; expected to grow to at least 6'5", he has not reached beyond 5'9" - diminutive for a dragon-type.

Broad-shouldered and thoroughly fit without being too bulky for his height, Aksel's body indeed does reflect the two sports he plays through the PCA - Rugby League and Lacrosse. His grooming habits and physical presentation are immaculate; Aksel is always sharply dressed and smelling fresh.

Don't expect to be informed on his emotions any deeper than what you get at face value - too long ago was all that shut away into some unreachable area of himself, and any of it rising to the surface is a rare event indeed. Completely intolerant of stupidity, or complete breaches of logic, a lot of students rub Aksel the wrong way; but like every other feeling he develops, you won't find out unless you pester him almost continuously.

He comes across as a friendly guy, although it's more an aversion to confrontation than genuinely being nice. Despite all his responsbilities, he remains level-headed - or at least, that's the impression everyone else gets.

Family Life:
Being the eldest, Aksel is expected to strive for excellence. Although he hasn't necessarily disappointed his parents in this case, the constant push from his father is a main factor as to why Aksel keeps everything under wraps, emotion-wise.

His parents are a stark contrast to one another; his mother is a bellydancer, and eccentric in every which way, whereas his father works as a leading architect, and is straightfoward in his ways.

As his father is thoroughly dedicated to his work - either staying late at the office, shut up in the master bedroom, or in another city altogether - and his mother is usually dancing at a function, or out all weekend clubbing with what Aksel describes as 'the harem', it's a rare case to have all the family in one place at the same time.

Due to this, Aksel still doesn't lead much of a social life outside of school-related activities; his weekends are usually spent at home, with his brother, Svein.

Their relationship is good, but there isn't much of a bond in terms of similarities, of which there are little.

Team Interaction:
Theoretically, Aksel makes an ideal captain, his grades reflecting in his actions, which borderline strategic brilliance. However, the 'nice guy' act turns to shambles in the arena, his intolerance for a lack of logic hindering an ability to go with the flow. More often than not, these blows come between Cinnabar and himself, forcing the other two members to act as in-betweens to keep the team in functioning order.

Aksel typically hangs back during the start of a round, but rather than milling around uselessly - like it would seem to an onlooker - he kills two birds with one stone. Mentally, he takes note of each and every factor involved in the arena, and whilst doing so, primes himself physically, letting self-affecting moves like Focus Energy charge.

His attacks are calculated and aimed well, although Aksel can only really go down two main paths strategy-wise - hang back and attack from a long range, allowing for a resting period between each; or step into the fray and exhaust himself much quicker, as most of his moves are ferocious in power, but taxing on the user.
