Grimm never cared to much about Christmas, for two reasons, the first one because he born in Christmas, and the second he loses his wife and daughter on Crhistmas.
That is some of the reasons that now he is a mercenary, but I think that he now thinks better about Christmas, he really is a good Santa Claus!! :)
