But even then enemy’s have tried time and time again to take the Crown City but ever time the Iron Wall or the Kings Glaive or the Kings Shield has held them at bay but there is always a price to be payed for power

“Please send in the next one Miss Twilight Dusk” I say to my assistant a young Unicorn well maybe not so young she has a wisdom to her that is fare beyond her 29 years or being 9 months pregnant “Right away my lord “ I hear her say as I look down at her smiling “pleas Twilight your like family just call me Raygis” I say as she looks up at me a smile on her muzzle “ I know but it” she says right before a look of pain comes to her face the an odd scent fill’s the air as she looks up at me “oh no no not now” she says as I call to one of the Guards “call the Doctor that’s with my wife tell her that Miss Dusk has gone into labor” . just as the first guard made his war to the large doors a young fox nurse ran in out of breath “y..your highness y..your w..wife has gone into labor and she’s calling for you “ my eyes go wide as I make my way down to Twilight “okay hold on we will be right there “ . i tell her and teleport the two of us to the med wing ware Night Song and the doctor were the young fox cat doctor and two other nurse’s ran over and help her onto a bed and started to look her over as I made my way over to Night Song taking her paw in mine “hi sweet heart I’m hear how are the pups” I said just as the doctor came over “thire just fine your Highness but I do need a word with you” she said as we walk to the door and out into the hall and she look up at me I was worry in her eyes “I’m sorry to say but I miss counted your wife is having six pup’s and I’m not sure of the gender of number six but the newest scan’s show that it’s the first one that’s going to come out “ she said . I made my way back into the room and sat down on my rump next too Night Song she somehow know that I needed her and nuzzled my cheek “it’s going to be fine deer I’m sure we can handle six pups besides I know you wanted a big family “ she said and she was right I held her paw in mine and kiss her on the muzzle after that things started to move fast Twilight’s foal was close to being born and so was my first born I held Night Songs paw as she started to push and as the doctor “okay miss Song one more hear push and the pup will be out “ .She says and I feel her tighten her grip on my paw with one last moan of pain I heard the doctor call out “and…….we have a boy” she says and my heart nearly stops as she brings the pup around to show us he

was small his fur was a light blue with a Silver band of fur around his neck Night Song held him close to her lower body so he can nurse and she look at me with a smile and we kiss but not for long the pain started up again an hour later all six pups were born one boy and five girls the two new mother’s laid close by Twilight gave birth to a healthy baby girl who was a unicorn like her mom and was named Velvet Dusk. Later that night as Night Song and I had something to eat we came up with names for the little ones we started with the boy the first born I look up at Night Song “what do you think we shoaled name him?” I ask she giggled and look at me “he was our little silver bolt from the blue” she say’s and trails off then looks at me again
“You know Silver sounds like a nice name for him for that silver ring of fur around his neck “she says and I smile “yeah that does sound good a good Lucis family name “ I say as she giggles “hehe so his name with be Argentum that’s a pretty “ she stops as a loud nock on the door stops us. I call out “yes what is it?” the voice of one of the Guards “your majesty com call for you it’s its King Sky Star he says it important” I look over at Night Song “sorry deer need to take this” she nods “it’s okay go on a kings job is never done”
I smile back at her as I go the halls are silent as I go “so a new king has been born” the voice in my mind say’s “shut up you will not have my son or any of my children this game ends with me “ the voice chuckles “you know the deal your ancestors made with me your Highness “ I gritted my jaw’s as I made my way too the com room “I know the deal they made with you I just don’t want my children to pay the price for it “ I say to the voice in my mind as I reach the com room and stop “that’s way this power was giving to your family so all of them well be safe “ I made my way in and shut out the voice as I push the button “hello king Sky Star how are you my friend” the screen came on showing the face of a tan furred Pegasus with a smile on his face and a….holy cow was that a baby on his hooves “ Raygis good to see you my old friend good news she’s hear” he says and holds up the baby “hear names Firefly she has the same pink fur as her mother and I heard that you and Night Song had your letter as well congrats too you “

Ii smile back “yes it is good news and I now have a son “Sky Stars smile faded a little “so will he be next in line?” I nodded “yes he will be King once I’m gone” Sky nodded “it will be okay Raygis just enjoy the years you will have with them all my friend “ he says and reaches out to close the com “now go and be with them” he say as the screen goes black I make my way back his words fresh in my mind he was right I just need to enjoy the time I have with them but I do want all of them to be safe so once there older I will have them all learn to fight so they can keep each other safe I stop at the door to mine and Night Songs room and smiled yes I’m a father now it’s time to be one
