I have a very special 'photo-op' to present on this Christmas Eve - taken by my niece Erica - of Wantagh, New York - with the digital camera feature of her smartphone (passed along to my brother Glenn on his smartphone)...
Last week, Erica's mother (my sister) Rhonda spent part of her day adorning the Christmas tree - in the living room of her house out on Long Island - using a ladder to place decorations on the higher branches. Unfortunately, she had too many decorations, and didn't know what to do with them... so, she used them to adorn the ladder (right)!
Erica was able to get one of Rhonda's three dogs (each one of them a papillon) to pose beneath the tree for an appropriate holiday 'photo-op'. The papillon in this pic, named Zipper has already celebrated eighteen Christmases in his life... and this one will make it nineteen!
