Some super-quick Christmas type arts. Drawn in pencil, coloured with Prisma Markers :)
I remember how disappointed I felt when I first saw Blue Sky’s “A Mammoth Christmas” TV Special - they could have re-imagined Father Christmas as some fantastic prehistoric / mythological animal. But no. They were literally on the nose with Santa Claus here.
So I decided to have a go myself.
I imagine ‘Santa Claws’ in the Ice Age universe as a prehistoric polar bear, born out of the aurora borealis to spread joy, give presents and help lead lost animals back home. I know the red claws look a little sinister, but on the other hand it’d look pretty silly if I coloured the entire bear in red...
