Not very furry as far as characters go but, I wanted to share an old illustration (since I've been showing old illustrations) of two of my oldest characters (oldest in the since that I've been working on their story since the dawn of time...as opposed to the physical age of these two ^^; ) Juma & Naja.

Juma is the girl on the left. She's an earth sprite while Naja, the boy on the right, is a tree sprite. Naja's and his people help the trees grown and blossom while Juma and her people help maintain the health of the ground beneath our feet. Also, tree sprites have wings and can fly while earth sprites are very close to the ground and as such, are wingless.

I couldn't begin to tell you how many changes these characters have gone through over the years! But, it was a very interesting and fun journey along the way
