I've never sculpted a chibi with this level of feather detail before, so it was an interesting challenge. But oh my goodness did he ever turn out amazing! He also has asymmetrical toes on one of his feet, which was another interesting thing to add to his design. However I have to say his face markings were the hardest thing to do. The rest of his body is made entirely out of colored polymer clay, but his markings had to be hand-painted on. I tried to sculpt them, but they were simply too tiny and intricate to do in clay.
