What makes us all special is the collection of unique experiences, traits, and features we have. This piccie here is but a simplistic take on what makes me, well, me.
It's kind of like playing the card "Polymerization" from Yu-Gi-Oh! where certain key creatures are needed to make a fantastic new whole. In this case, the Yoshi is the most dominant feature. This is because Yoshies are ever-cheerful, enthusiastic, eager to help, and never give up. Yoshi has also always been associated as a more of a side-kick character than a lead. This aspect is quite fitting as, where I am capable of taking the reigns, I prefer and am at my best in support roles where I accompany those whose causes I firmly believe in standing beside.
Where does the baby duck fit in? Well, it's actually quite simple. First off, as illustrated, the duck side is less prevailant than that of the Yoshi in the character fusion. Second, ducks have long been characterized as wild and crazy talkers. I am no exception and, as most of you know, I can seemingly go on for days when it comes to journals, comments, or just basic chit-chat. Lastly, its cuteness and innocence help mentally serve as a failsafe when the more dominant, Yoshi side becomes overwhelmed by stress and negativity.
As I mentioned in my journals "Journey of Discovery" and "New Wave," this image is part of some of the thoughts and ideas I had while I was away from everything for a week. :)

Ehehe, uh oh, that yoshi isn't going to throw an egg at you is he!? ;O; Be careful!
Ah, but I think it's a neat idea. There are lots of different things that make us who we are, or like with our characters, directly contribute to what they turned out like personality-wise or other, maybe what species they are, and so on. It's a neat little thing! I didn't know ducks were usually crazy talkers though. :3 It reminds me of a friend who, it seemed like, could probably just have a conversation with himself all day. Or at least when I was around him last time, he just went on and on and on... I guess maybe that was a ducky moment? 8D
Either way, I like that we get to talk a lot on here, or at least reading what ya right is fun. Yup yup yup! ;P

*Quack Quack Quack Quack*
Yup! You can thank ol' Donald and Daffy for giving ducks the image of always flapping at the quack.
<LoL!> Your friend reminds me of what I've been told about myself. When I get going in RL, I goooooooo. I've actually had to mentally start working on a "trigger" of sorts that yells at me and says, "Stop talking and let the other person speak!" or "Enough about your thing, ask about their's!"
You're an amazing inspiration, Oxnard. You're "Circle" series really got the ball rolling for me to start opening myself up and exploring the many nuances of human psyche. If you weren't so talkative and interesting, I doubt many of my more recent pieces would have ever come to fruition. You've really helped me to become comfortable with who I am for what I am. :)

Oh yeah huh! Both of them are really loud and talkative. 8D Donald's squawky quacks are really loud even just in my head. :B I think even the ducky in Little Bear was really talkative too!
It's tough to keep that in mind, but it's good to try and work on it! (: There's another lady student at my school who talks longer than I expect too - I think I know when she's going to finish talking when I head out the door, but then when it closes I can still hear her talking, but I'm already gone. D: Another student said she'd done the same thing with her, so I guess it's work for both sides to adjust in that situation. :3 I wouldn't mean to walk out on someone mid-sentence! ;O; Hehe.
I'm glad you could find something in yourself too! (: Whether it's just letting your mind wonder, or something you feel that you need to do, self-exploration can bring out lots of great things, and that's a part of our friendship that I really enjoy! (:

Ha-ha-ha! :) Actually, I'm a big egg fan. Not so much eating them, but I love the concept behind them and all the nifty colors they can come in.
Eggs are like mystery capsules in that you don't know what lies inside. Plus, cute things typically come out of them, which is an added plus for me as I'm a big cutesy fan. :)
Remember how I commented on your one piccie awhile back regarding the card game MAGIC: The Gathering? One of the decks I have built over the past 13 years actually is all about eggs and whelps. I also met Risu thanks to that remark, too. So, I thank you for inspiring me in that way. The two of us might not have met if not for your squirrel piccies and the thoughts they gave me.
