The Mushroom Troll

These trolls only grow to be about 6 inches tall, they make their homes in damp dark places where there are always mushrooms aplenty. They come in many color varieties, often taking on a few from whatever they eat, this gal is getting her orange from the mushrooms she nibbles as a midnight snack. She is about 4.6" tall herself, a pretty normal size for a fully grown female.

I love this little GIRL. SHE is so cute. I named HER after a cat I had until it was ten weeks old, the night I moved to Pittsburgh to go to college my mom dumped said kitten, it's mother and litter mates, and another mother cat and her litter who were about 3 weeks older, on a farm. I hated my mother for that. She didn't feel like changing 6 litter boxes three times a day like I had been doing, so she got rid of them.

(The mother cats were rescued strays that I had found already pregnant. It was a super surprise for the first one especially, we thought she was only 2 months old, maybe 3, we never would have guessed she was already 7 months, she was TINY, we had suspected the second was pregnant already from the way her belly looked when we found her, and the vet confirmed it.)
