'The Encounter' was a picture of the Giga Mermaid around 8-9 months before she was revealed finally in trailers of the game. When I retweeted the picture on Twitter, Matt Bozon commented: "When I saw this image months ago I was pretty surprised at how close you were!" I had to draw the Giga Mermaid again, but I didn't know how to or what to do with her.
Once I played the game and faced her, I was so happy because... well Mr. Bozon was right. Was freakishly close. After that... I knew how I should draw her.
I was Motivated!
I'm quite surprised the credits sequence on Half-Genie Hero doesn't have any aftermath pictures like Pirates' Curse did...

D'awww, that's really cute! :D And looks super impressive too! You've been improving a lot the last year! :D
I figure the "aftermath" pictures are something the artists do when the game is in it's "bugfixing" phase, but since there's quite a bit of DLC on he horizon here, they probably didn't have the free time to dedicate to this this time - however, maybe we'll see those after all the DLC has come out? I'd love to see it! :)
