Yeaaaaah, on a technical level that is correct. I typed this really fast and the lifetime of indoctrination via media entertainment gets me to type mermaid a lot when I refer to a legless aquatic humanoid. Similar to how I am much more likely to type Dukemon instead of Gallantmon when quickly typing something out without proofreading when talking about Digimon.

Sorry but I'm with Gallantmon; you can't say 'mermaid guy.' Even if it was a trans character that identifies as female, it would just be 'trans mermaid,' right? Perhaps you meant 'merfolk guy'?

Yes I did. I still have the whole mermaid popping up as the first word I think of when thinking of legless fishy people living in the sea so it went through as such. XD
