My best guess is that they either have some sort of fire manipulation, or perhaps even some control over the sun? Definitely something to do with heat though...unless perhaps it's time manipulation which they use to go mega fast? Who knows, I just had a lot of fun designing them ;P I imagine the gloves on their paws help protect their hands from the fire-y magic...or maybe they just want to look cool and edgy, who knows! <3
